Glasgow : Spa and Strolling!

Glasgow : Spa and Strolling!

Hello everyone! I hope you have all recovered from stuffing your faces with pancakes and then being all loved up on Valentines Day! πŸ’• On a serious note I hope you all enjoyed your days and were all spoiled rotten!

I managed to spend my Valentines Day in the most splendid way : a full pamper day with my wee maw! My mum is my bestest buddy and having a full day with her is exactly what I needed! πŸ˜˜πŸ’™

We drove into town and dumped the car at a nearby supermarket to catch the train into Glasgow City Central! I managed to stuff some breakfast in my face and we were able to catch up on all the gossip! We arrived in Glasgow and bumped into my dad who is working in the city for the next few weeks! πŸ™‚ We stoated up the big hill on St. Vincent Street and eventually made it to the 200 SVS Spa! πŸ§–πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

I had booked in for us both to have a 30min massage with some complimentary drinks and relaxation time – however due to the way I have been recently I was advised against a massage. Instead I opted for a little manicure! πŸ’…πŸΌ

We got changed into our robes and relaxed in the amazing chill room! My wee mum was taken away for her lovely massage while my nails were buffed, filed and painted ..

When we both returned to the relaxing room we were treated to some drinks (I was driving so my mum had double haha).

The Spa was lovely and all staff were really nice and made us feel so comfrotable! πŸ’•

We then decided to grab some lunch and do what I do best and explore a little! It was really cold on Wednesday so we needed to keep moving to keep cosy! Our first stop was Buchanan Street for some grub and then I took my mum to George Square. She loved it and kept asking “where’s the guy with the cone?” πŸ˜‚.

Down to her requests I took her round to the Duke of Wellington – she did ask to climb on him haha!

We visited a little museum and then headed back round to meet my dad for the train home!

I had an excellent day out with my mum and I cannot wait for our next day out together! We plan to see more of Glasgow when it’s a little warmer and the I may even take her to Edinburgh! πŸ˜‰ love you wee mum!

Did you guys do anything nice on Valentines Day?
