As most of you know Jamie and I planned and booked a weekend trip to Berlin – but we are complete dafties and missed our flight! 😂 Honestly, we woke up later than what we should have and then got held up at the security department haha. Anyway, we missed the flight and needed to plod along home feeling blue! We decided to have a relaxing weekend instead and I managed to convince Jad to take a little trek up to Dundonald Castle. It was still pretty cold and snowy so we only planned a small trip to the castle.… View Post

Finally, the sun was shining and it was time for a well needed catch up with my Rachelle! Rachelle is one of my best friends who is now living in Edinburgh because of uni, so as you can imagine, I haven’t seen her anywhere near the amount as I used to! But today, we met up, shared all the gossip from the last few months and tackled Arthur’s Seat! The start of our walk already felt pretty high as you could see a lot of the Edinburgh skyline. Finally Jamie agreed to take me to Falkirk! It’s a place I have always wanted to visit because of the Kelpies and Falkirk Wheel – I know I’m a saddo but I have the urge to see weird and wonderful things haha! Anyway, we travelled to Falkirk while listening to some goos songs (Jad was gettinf annoyed at my amazing taste in music haha) and eventually I could see the Kelpies in the distance. I was like an excited school girl haha! We eventually parked at the Falkirk Football Stadium, which was great for me to see as Rangers have… View Post

A few days ago was my wonderful Home Hen Party with all my girls, so I decided I wanted to spend the Sunday exploring with oor Jad! He was a little rough from the night before so dragging him out of bed was the first challenge of the day haha!  As we stay in Kilmarnock the closest hill is Loudoun Hill. I have always wanted to climb it and now that my target for 2017 is to explore hills around Scotland, I decided it was time to do it. A lot of people told me it wasn’t too bad to climb so… View Post
